JSC “VNII “Signal” has been developing equipment providing automated control for wide range of military hardware for more than 50 years.

Operational main battle tanks and infantry combat vehicles, multiple antiaircraft/antitank systems, self-propelled artillery guns, reconnaissance and fire control vehicles, Navy combat ships and combat helicopters are equipped by the laying and stabilization systems, navigation and survey systems, automated fire control systems designed by “VNII “Signal” experts.

“VNII “Signal” has high scientific and technical potential, stable team of high-professional designers and performers, unique test basis, well-developed and balanced production infrastructure. The advanced design engineering methods, state-of-the-art technology and facilities result in developing new systems and equipment. “Signal” All-Russian Research Institute ensures pilot and serial production of new unique systems and equipment for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

More than 800 R&D programs have been accomplished and nearly 250 articles have been phased in production. “VNII “Signal” designs are protected by more than 1300 certificates of authorship and industrial patents. 1200 scientific studies and research papers have been published.
